Legend Studio
Legend Studio is where you write and change a Legend project: its models, the mappings that connect them to data, the connections and runtimes those use, and the services, tests and diagrams built on them. The SDLC server keeps each project in a GitLab repository. You change a project in a workspace, your own copy of it, then push your changes, review them, and release a version that other projects and applications can use.
Pages
- Projects and workspaces: the start screen, opening a workspace and creating one.
- The editor: every part of the editor, numbered on a screenshot, and text mode.
- Modeling: classes, enumerations, associations, profiles and diagrams.
- Connecting to data: databases, connections, runtimes and mappings.
- Tests: a mapping's and a function's tests, and the Test Runner.
- Querying: the query builder, the query in the Legend language and its SQL, and saving a query.
- Services: a service's settings, its query, its tests and its post validations.
- Data spaces: what people who use a model's data see of it, and its preview.
- Review and release: local changes, pushing, reviews, updating a workspace and releasing a version.
The screenshots show one project, firm-model: firms, the people they employ, and the database that holds them.
